My Story
In March of 2010, I embarked on a journey with Scentsy that would forever change my life. At the outset, I had no prior experience in direct sales, nor did I anticipate my involvement lasting beyond a few months.
My reasons for joining were simple: my husband and I had just booked our first cruise, and I desired extra funds for shopping, particularly for formal attire. Additionally, living abroad at the time, I observed a buzz among expatriate wives about Scentsy's wickless candles. However, lacking a local consultant, they couldn't sample the scents before purchasing.
Upon placing my initial order, I eagerly awaited its arrival. Before it even reached me, I decided to join Scentsy. The arrival of my order and joining kit further solidified my enthusiasm. My first party was a success, reaching $1,000 in sales, earning me free and discounted products, along with my first paycheck of $291.43, enabling me to indulge in three dresses for our cruise.
This venture catalyzed a personal transformation. Confidence grew, friendships flourished, and I found joy in an endeavor that not only enriched my life but also provided financial reward. Rather than idly scrolling through social media, I delved into YouTube tutorials to enhance my skills.
Word of Scentsy spread, with demand increasing for parties and team members. I realized success lay not in sales pitches but in shared sensory experiences.
Nearly fourteen years on, I'm grateful for the opportunities Scentsy has provided. Its flexibility allowed me to support my husband's goal of early retirement. Together, we anticipate a future filled with fulfillment.
